On Saturday, September 9th, people from all over the world will be racing in the most unique organized event in the racing world and in the world of those fighting sexual exploitation: the Race for Virtue.
Educate and Empower Kids is proud to announce its partnership with the amazing efforts of Race for Virtue. Proceeds from the event will help us continue to provide education and resources to families, teachers and communities. Other organizations working with Race for Virtue include The National Center on Sexual Exploitation, Refuge for Women, SA Lifeline, and Betrayal Trauma Recovery.
Please join us by registering at www.raceforvirtue.org. Registration costs $7 for adults and $5 for children and includes an online race packet and a printable race bib.
Local community races are also being posted on the Race for Virtue website map and will be coordinated through volunteers. Gold shoe laces, tyvek bibs, and t-shirts can be purchased at an additional cost during the registration process.
We invite you to participate as individuals, families, athletes, friends, and church groups and record your journey on social media with the hashtag #RaceForVirtue. Participants can hike, bike, walk, run, swim, scooter, etc. for as long as they want, with whoever they choose–anywhere in the world!

Sharing physical, emotional, and spiritual journeys, finding new resources, and contributing to the cause, we believe, can empower all involved,” says Ashley Bell, Executive Director of Race for Virtue.
