Leadership is the power or ability to lead other people. Anyone can be a leader. Sometimes children assume that a person needs to be loud or mean to be a leader, but this is, of course, false. A person with good ideas who is able to guide others and motivate them to work with positive reinforcement is a good leader. Leaders are able to communicate their needs and are willing to listen to others’ needs as well. Some children may have the natural inclination to lead, but any child can learn to lead!
